Leading UK motorcycle and scooter tyre distributor Bike Tyrestore, has announced the lucky winner of its recent prize draw. Barney Chapman from Barney’s Superbikes in Fareham, Hampshire is now the happy owner of a brand new MotoGP replica Suzuki GSX R-600 stacked with aftermarket goodies.

Bike Tyrestore trade customers buying Michelin tyres throughout the summer, were entered into a prize draw – the more tyres purchased, the more chances of winning. Second prize was a trip to the 2015 Bol d’or, whilst the third place winner received a set of Michelin tyres for their own bike. Twenty five runners up also received Michelin goody bags.

Barney received his new Suzuki on a warm, sunny day at the end of September with Bike Tyrestore Sales Manager Adam Rous, and Michelin Marketing Manager, James Dimmock arriving to present the prize. Ecstatic with his new bike, Barney promptly took the bike round the block for a spin and came back with a huge grin on his face.

Adam Rous said: “We see the steady commitment to the quality of a well-known brand like Michelin constantly from our customers, but I think over the summer we had a few converts who have also found out what Michelin tyres have to offer. We also like to reward our loyal customers and give something back when we can, and what better than a free bike! The draw was a success and it reinforces our working relationship with motorcycle and scooter businesses around the UK, it’s definitely something we would consider running again.”
