Dave Webster sadly passed away last week after being diagnosed with cancer some 18 months ago. Typical to his nature, there was no complaints, and thankfully, little pain.

Dave, like lots of people, started in business in his garage until 1983 when he went into partnership with Norrie Kerr to form Midland Scooter Centre (MSC). MSC grew into the largest scooter-only business in the country, with Dave the Lambretta tuner and Norrie on Vespa tuning.

Dave and Norrie dominated scooter racing in the 80’s with their performances on the race track. Dave won a staggering eight British Championships.

Cancer struck around 18 months ago, and took its toll on Friday the 10th of April 2015.

Dave will be remembered by many as the top Lambretta racer and a top line tuner.

Rest in peace pal.
