HMRC EMPLOYER BULLETIN

Issue 49 of the HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) Employer Bulletin is now available. Aimed at employers and agents, it contains important information and news about topics which may affect payroll obligations to HMRC


The eight-page bulletin provides employers with information to help meet payroll obligations to HMRC, and provide advance notice of forthcoming changes. As part of that support, the bulletin contains many signposts to up-to-date online guidance, thereby reducing the need to phone the Employer Helpline.

The new edition reminds employers to check their eligibility for Employment Allowance and make a claim if they haven’t already done so – it’s not too late to apply. The bulletin also includes an important reminder that, from October, HMRC will be charging in-year penalties for late submissions of PAYE information.
