INTERNATIONAL DIRT BIKE SHOW GEARS UP

July 25 2014.

The International Dirt Bike Show halls are filling fast and early indications are that the 2014 edition will topple last year’s Show in terms of the range of exhibitors spanning the dirt bike sector from major manufacturers to international clothing, parts, accessories and aftermarket suppliers, racing associations and retailers. But it doesn’t stop there as the Dirt Bike Show is about more than static displays, even though a visit to the main halls to inspect the latest must-haves is usually the first port of call for the majority of Show visitors.

In recent years the annual dedicated off-road event at Stoneleigh Park has become synonymous with being an entertainment hub for the whole family, with plenty of free-of-charge visitor participation activities and live action to watch. This year will be no different with Inch Perfect motorcycle and Oset electric bike trials displays and have-a-go trials for adults and kids; Owd Codgers trial demonstrations; Wall of Death, Danny Butler’s MTB stunt show, Flat Trak racing demos and the final two rounds of the ultra-competitive and popular UK Superlites Championship. As more activities are signed up, updates will be posted at www.dirtbikeshow.co.uk

The interactive stage in the main hall will again be brought to life with the dulcet tones of journalist and TV commentator Jack Burnicle with his astonishing recall of every motocross fact and stat that Show fans could ever wish to know – or forget!

This year, one lucky Show enthusiast will win a Honda CRF450R Black Edition as the Show organiser has teamed up with Honda Britain to give away one of these highly sought-after machines in a free-to-enter prize draw. The bike will be on display on the Classic Dirt Bike stand in Stoneleigh’s hall three and show-goers can enter at the event. Those canny off-road fans who buy their tickets in advance, will not only make a significant saving over on-the-door admission prices, they will automatically be entered into the prize draw.
