One of the most popular items is the VM314700 282cc cylinder kit, which is supplied with the revolutionary V4 cylinder head. The cylinder is manufactured from an aluminium alloy with a high content of silicon which has been machined on high precision CNC machines with a tolerance of just 0.05mm. Technical features include, recalculated heat exchange surfaces for more efficient cooling, ultra-compact lightened and reinforced piston kit, and low friction piston rings.

The included V4 cylinder head is manufactured from a tempered aluminium alloy with increased diameter inlet (25mm) and exhaust (22.2mm) valves and ports, allowing Malossi to generate a significant increase in power. Furthermore, the valve springs, seats, and guides have also been refined to operate under the increased loads generated by the more powerful cylinder kit.

For those owners who already have the 282cc cylinder installed, the V4 head is available as a separate item for future upgrades of their machine under VM383273.

VM314700, Malossi 282cc cylinder kit with V4 head package is suitable for fitment to the following 300cc Maxi scooters: Aprilia Sport City Cube, Aprilia SR Max, Derbi Rambla, Gilera Nexus, Peugeot Geo RS, Piaggio Beverly, Piaggio Carnaby, Piaggio MP3, also Vespa GTS, and Vespa GTV.
