Malossi has released a range of new transmission products for the Yamaha T-Max 530 2017 and 2018 maxi scooter which are available through VE (UK).

Malossi K-Drive: The new K-Drive system allows the owner to fine tune the gearing range of the scooter by using a range of different crown and pinion gears to adjust the final ratio. Manufactured from hardened aluminium to not only reduce weight but also increase the product’s service life, the crown gears are available in 56, 57, and 58 tooth gears. The pinion gears are also manufactured from the same hardened material and can be purchased in 24, 27, 28, and 29 tooth versions. Depending on the gears used the final drive ratio can be altered from between 2.269:1 (standard) to 1.931:1.

Malossi torque driver: The Malossi torque driver has been designed with recalculated pivot grooves to provide a consistent transmission load across the rev range, this allows the initial transmission power dip to be minimised at low-speed acceleration. It is highly recommended that the torque driver is fitted along with a Malossi variator and Kevlar drive belt to ensure the best possible performance.
