Magura’s 167 master cylinder is an easy-to-install replacement for the hydraulic brake and clutch controls fitted to many dirt bikes.

Its modern design features a compact one-piece aluminium cylinder and reservoir, with a forged alloy lever blade and improved reach adjustment.

Originally introduced for off-road use, the 167 is also available with a larger diameter 13mm piston, suitable for road bikes with single piston callipers.

A rubber cap protects the cylinder and lever blade pivot against the elements and the compact construction avoids collision damage when riding extreme off-road. The lever is break optimised, so that, even if it is damaged in a crash, it will still be usable.

Simple to fit, with a folding clamp, the 167 is designed for use with mineral oil or brake fluid, making life less complicated.

Retail prices for the 167 Brake Master cylinder start at £203.78 and clutch cylinders start at £156.95 (including VAT).
