PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT: Roof helmets 18 October 2018 • Designed by French ex pilot, Claude Morin, the Boxer has evolved over the years and the innovative ninth generation Boxxer version is available now. The eighth generation Boxer V8 is still the top selling Roof model though, and is offered in six designs for 2019. The unique Roof brand, steered by distributor Neo Distribution, has gone from strength to strength within the UK, and sales have increased by over 50 per cent within the last 12 months. Now, with the release of several new-for-2019 models and designs, the team at Neo is anticipating a strong market penetration in the year ahead. Raising the Roof Introduced in 1995, the Roof Boxxer soon became an icon and revolutionised the modular helmet market BOXXER 9 NEW FOR 2019 The new lightweight fibreglass shell is based on the Boxxer carbon design which is lower and longer in shape. There are seven models in the range with three mono colours - gloss red, gloss white and matte graphite, and four multi colours - Fuzo in gloss black and red, gloss black and metallic (Kawasaki) green and Face (two-tone) matte black and titanium, gloss metal (gun metal) and pearl white. The Boxxer 9 has an improved anti-bacteria and fast-drying lining and new anodised visor hubs made from aluminium. There are also upgrades taken from the Boxxer Carbon which include, four anchor-point strap fixings, new front, top and rear vents and the new automatic sequential and non- popper visor locking system. Other improvements are the reversible silicon lip visor seal, adaptable comfort lining pads and new chin bar stop.
