Motorex celebrated its centenary last month, and its UK distributor Bickers attended a party full of family-friendly activities at the manufacturer’s factory, in the Langenthal industrial district of Switzerland.

One of the highlights of the 100-year celebration was when the Motorex factory opened its doors to give the public a rare glimpse inside, with staff providing interactive tours of the premises. Motorex spared no expense and catered for all ages, with refreshments served throughout the day, stunt riders, a pump track, BMX workshops, soap bubble performers, live bands and the world’s most powerful standard tractor, the Fendt 1050 Vario, available to view up close.

Bicker’s managing director, Derek McMartin, who attended the event, said: “The turnout was fantastic, a testament to how deeply-rooted Motorex is in its community. Everyone really got into the spirit, including myself, with thousands of visitors wearing green Motorex hats taking over Langenthal.
