Low-cost replacement foam air filter for Yamaha YFZ450R quad. Available now from trade distributor ATVs Only.

This is a unique two-stage high-volume foam air filter, with optional outer filter. Oil the ‘yellow’ inside filter and leave the outside ‘red’ foam cover dry to collect the big stuff first. Kits such as this one from Pro Designs can save quad-racing enthusiasts hundreds of pounds in engine repairs.

For a dramatic performance improvement over stock, a billet base plate forms a perfect seal at the front of the filter and prevents dirt or debris from getting into the machine’s intake. In dry conditions, the airbox lid can be completely removed to maximise air intake.

The outer ‘red’ foam is available separately for competitors who want to simply change this part between races.

For use only with Pro Design Pro Flow kit. Suitable for: YFZ450R 2009-18, with many options available.
