SCORPION AUTOMOTIVE WINS BEST MEDIUM SIZED BUSINESS IN LANCASHIRE

Scorpion Automotive, parent company of Datatool, won the BIBA award for the Best Medium Sized Business in Lancashire 2014 last Friday the 12th of September.


Over 1200 companies entered the awards in 17 different categories to be crowned the best in Lancashire. Mark Downing, MD of Scorpion Automotive was presented the award by category sponsor, Mick Gornall from Westinghouse at Blackpool Tower Circus Arena in front of an audience in excess of 1000 people. Downing was joined by some key members of the management, R&D and production staff.

The BIBA awards have become a hallmark for success, its winners use the iconic trophy to communicate their excellence to customers and suppliers alike. The awards are dubbed as ‘the one they all want to win’. The judging process is rigorous with stiff competition in all categories, an award is a true mark of success.

Said Downing; “I’m extremely pleased and excited to receive this award on behalf of the whole Scorpion Automotive team. We’ve been working really hard and feel honoured to have won this category. We were up against some very tough competition, there are some fantastic businesses out there in Lancashire!”
