As part of a long term strategy to ensure that the Kawasaki brand and dealers in the United Kingdom are in the strongest position to compete in a volatile motorcycle market, Kawasaki Motors UK has announced the next stage in the evolution of the branch.

Key changes within the organisational structure of the sales and marketing functions have been implemented to further increase efficiency in core areas and to introduce additional functions that will help and support franchised Kawasaki dealers in an aggressive economic climate.

A new role of UK Communications and PR Manager covering Direct Marketing, Customer Relationship Management and Public Relations will be filled by current Marketing Manager, Martin Lambert.

In concert with this, Branch Manager for Kawasaki Motors UK, Howard Dale, announced a re-organisation of the Sales and Marketing departments to form a single entity. Current Sales Manager, Michael Johnstone will become the Sales and Marketing Manager.

Along with the changes, he also announced the creation of a number of new roles which augment KMUK's support and growth ambitions for its national dealer network.

"These are challenging yet exciting times for the Kawasaki brand in the UK", commented Howard Dale. "We see this re-organisation as a spring board for our next level of success and to introduce what we feel will be a greater level of assistance for a loyal and expanding dealer network. Naturally, we expect a better buying and ownership experience for current and future owners of Kawasaki products in the UK to be an inevitable result of these changes".
