Bridgestone UK has initiated a new media campaign, promoting its new Hypersport BT-016 motorcycle tyre which, according to wholesaler Bike Tyrestore, has been quickly established as one of the most popular choices for riders of sports and hypersports bikes, following it's launch earlier this year.

Homing in on the widely publicised decision by MotoGP star Dani Pedrosa to switch from Michelin tyres to Bridgestone in the later stages of the 2008 World Championship, the high profile advertising campaign will catch readers of most of the main two-wheel consumer magazines, including  Motor Cycle News.

Bike Tyrestore MD Peter Smith anticipates a late season surge in sales of the new Battlax, stimulated by the media activity and a campaign offering dealers the chance to go to the MotoGP test in Jerez early next year as guests of the UK Market Leader.
