Honda UK (Motorcycles) and Castrol have announced the launch of a 3 year business partnership agreement.

The partnership between Honda and Castrol has been in existence for many years, originally built on unrivalled success in motorcycle racing at world and local level.

The business partnership expands on this relationship with Castrol lending their expertise to the Honda motorcycle network in developing Aftersales programmes focused on business efficiency and business development.

'Far from being simply a supplier of top quality lubricant products, Castrol Business Services will provide business solutions to improve the profitability of our Dealers', explains Dave Hancock, Honda's Aftersales Manager

'In addition Castrol Equipment Services offers a complete motorcycle workshop equipment service, with design, project management and finance available for new builds'

Hancock adds 'there are clear benefits of working with Castrol in a long term partnership'.

Within the agreement, Castrol will continue to support Honda UK in their racing activities in British Superbikes and British Supersport, a partnership which has seen great success in 2003 with the triumph of Karl Harris in the 600 series.

'The agreement is testimony to the close working relationship developed between Castrol and Honda, explains Adrian Brabazon, Castrol's motorcycle marketing manager. 'We are unique in the market as having the ability to provide a number of Aftersales solutions to the needs of motorcycle dealers, and we look forward to building a strong partnership with Honda and their Dealer network in the coming months.
