December 18th. Former World Superbike Endurance champion Terry Rymer will be the first UK supermoto racer to be officially sponsored by Arlen Ness. Standing at 6'2" 'Too Tall Tel' will also be the tallest rider to wear Arlen Ness leathers, thus making him even more distinctive. Rymer will be racing a KTM 450SX for Bracken Motorcycles in the Official 2004 British Supermoto Championship.

Since its inception in 1999, Arlen Ness has been actively involved in motorcycle track sport, investing heavily in international riders such as Run Xaus (WSB) and Alex Barros (MotoGP). However, the Company views supermoto as a significant up-and-coming sector of motorcycle sport and is keen to be involved at a national level.

"We're delighted to have signed up Terry," says Mark Withey of Arlen Ness Wear UK. "We need experienced and professional riders in UK supermoto to attract sponsorship to the sport and help it develop into something as prestigious as British Super Bikes."

Arlen Ness is putting its money where its mouth is by producing a specific supermoto suit, styled and priced to suit the market.
"This is a proper supermoto suit with plenty of stretch panels. It's manufactured from cowhide, not Kangaroo like our race track suits, so that it will sell for around £500."
