SUZUKI TEAM MANAGER REX WHITE DIES
January 15 2004.

Rex White, who managed the 500cc world championship winning official Suzuki GP team in the 1970's and 80's died yesterday at his home in the south of England.

Rex was in charge of the UK based Texaco Heron Suzuki Team that took Barry Sheene to his two world titles in 1976 and 1977.

Rex continued to manage Suzuki GB's various national and international race teams untill his retirement.

The casue of death is as yet unconfirmed, but Rex had been unwell for some time.
