January 19 2004.

With a month to go before the gates open, the Carole Nash Bristol Classic Motorcycle Show at the Royal Bath and West Showground near Shepton Mallet, Somerset on 14/15 February 2004 is officially sold out. Trade stands, autojumble pitches, club displays and private concours entries have all been filled and the stage is set for the biggest and best Bristol show ever.

The Bristol show is the traditional season opener for the classic bike world and this year it looks like being busier than ever. For the restorers and private concours entrants, there'll be the first round of the Carole Nash Classic Motorcycle Awards, supported by The Classic Motor Cycle magazine. This prestigious competition culminates in the grand final at the NEC in November, where the overall winner will walk away with a cheque for £1000 and the Bristol show is the first chance to qualify for the final.

There's a fine variety of club displays to tempt the visitor too with organisations as diverse as the AJS and Matchless Owners Club, The Benelli/Motobi Club GB and the Historic Honda Collection all vying to catch the eye. And if you have a restoration or repair project on the go, the ever growing Bristol autojumble should provide all you need to finish the job.

With only a few weeks before the gates open, you'll have to be quick to take advantage of the discount deals available for advance bookings. Phone 01507 525771 if you want to beat the queues and save yourself some cash too.

The show gates open at 10am, closing at 5pm on Saturday & Sunday. Tickets cost £7.50adults, £5.50 for OAPs and Under-15s are free. There are advance tickets available at a saving too on our ticket hotline 01507 525771
