Honda's Supersport CBR 125R was the top selling bike in the UK during February with a total of 266 registrations.

Up-to-125cc machines filled the top four places with Honda's SCV 100 Lead second most popular model with 241 registrations, Piaggio's NRG with 233 and Piaggio's Zip 50 on 230.

Top seller in the 125cc to 650cc and fifth overall went to Suzuki's SV 650 S (222) ahead of Yamaha's FZ6 Fazer (219).

Overall registration figures for motorcycles and mopeds were 5,636, an 18% drop on the same time last year, and total numbers for the year so far are 20% down at 11,654.

Top machines by category were: Moped Scooter - Piaggio NRG (233 registrations), Moped/ Others - Easy Rider M 50 (122), Adventure Sport - Honda XL 125 V Varadero (132), Custom - Harley Davidson 1200 Custom (44), Scooter - Honda SCV 100 Lead (241), Sport/ Touring - Suzuki SV 650 S (222), Supersport - Honda CBR 125R (266), Touring - Honda NT 650 V Deauville (67), Naked - Yamaha XJR 1300 (93), Trail/ Enduro - Honda XR 125 L (176).
