April 27 2004. Following the successful launch of its range of total theft protection products, Datatool has announced its biggest-ever promotional campaign, with a total value well in excess of £200,000.

• 14-week advertising campaign in the motorcycle press, with an estimated value of close to £100,000.
• Police Liaison Officer, whose role will be to visit all 52 UK Police Forces and 10 Port Authorities to ensure that all are fully aware and enthusiastically participating in the promotion of electronic identification.
• Sponsorship of the Ducati Coventry Lloyds Racing British Supersport team. Established at the beginning of 2004 by renowned Ducati tuning ace John Hackett, with star rider Matt Llewellyn.
• Sponsorship of British Supermoto star Ady Smith, to highlight attention on the acute need for theft protection in this booming sector.
• Attendance at key exhibitions to talk with riders face-to-face.

With motorcycle theft still rampant, particularly in the off-road sector, Datatool is determined to engage with consumers at every opportunity to increase understanding that the key to security is to "lock it", "alarm it" and "tag it".

"We've been market leaders in electronic security for years," says Datatool's Phil Tayler "But you don't stay in front by standing still and our massive promotional spend shows our dealers just how serious we are about all types of security."
