April 27 2004. When Motorcycle Voyager magazine was launched at the NEC in November 2002 it was seen by many as a brave new move in motorcycle publishing.

Sidestepping the obsession with horsepower and wheelies that characterises many other UK bike publications, MV immediately put the emphasis on riding bikes in the real world - not just on the test track. Articles, aiming to be intelligently written and well illustrated, covered the spectrum from day trips in the Yorkshire Dales on a BMW to attending the Cannes Film Festival on a Harley V-Rod, and from off-roading in South Africa to touring in the USA.

A year and a half on, MV claims to have attracted a growing readership of enthusiastic bikers with high disposable incomes and this has led the magazine to take yet another bold step - to switch from being a bi-monthly to a monthly publication from May 2004. It's a development that has been very warmly received by MV readers, and which will make the publication even more attractive to advertisers.
