April 28 2004. The ever-cheerful Terry Homan has come up with a prime location for a two-lane drag meeting at, wait for it... London City Airport!

Terry has negotiated the use of the LCA on Saturday July 24th for the LCA Sprint Grand Prix in return for a donation to the Lewis Jacobs Trust for Autistic Children. The LCA Sprint Grand Prix will include a full programme of two-lane drag races for bikes plus a few demos by the Ferrari Owners club. Other attractions are also planned and partnership with a leading London Radio Station is already being discussed

The Airport isn't used on Saturday afternoons, but timing is still critical. Gates will open to the public at 12.30 and the meeting must close at 7pm. Trade stands will need to arrive at the site from around 10.30am on Saturday morning and then move to set up area after the last plane leaves at 11.20. Competitive runs will start at 1pm allowing a bit of peace and quiet to set up.

Terry has already secured a great drag name from the past in the form of John Hobbs and Hobbit, plus some super street machines from .

All types of Trade Stands are invited and Terry is trying to keep the costs down in Year One so contact him for full details ASAP as space will be limited.

You don't have to be too bright to realise that this is a clear golden opportunity for a title sponsor. Contact Terry now on 01255 508120 or 07768 171372.
