June 9 2004. National Cycle has produced two new bikini-style fairings for naked bikes that are designed to mount directly on to the headlamp bracket without the need for additional brackets, uprights or arm extensions.

Manufactured from Lexan polycarbonate, the fairings can flex in width to accommodate most naked bike front ends. National Cycle claims the polycarbonate is 35 times stronger than acrylic plastic and scratchproof.

There are two fairing designs: the F16 which comes in 2 versions - 33.6cm high in a medium tint (£54) and 23.5 cm high in a dark tint finish (£49) - and a more aggressive looking F18, which is 28.6cm high and comes in a dark tint (£49)
