Dunlop recently invited 150 lucky bikers to attend a day at the California Superbike School at Rockingham.

Selecting at random from a list individuals who had purchased Dunlop tyres over the summer, the winners were delighted to take part in an action-packed track session.

As first-prize of the competition, Dunlop also gave away a new Yamaha R6, to be presented at the International Motorcycle Show at the NEC. Five runners-up will each receive a set of Virgin Mobile leathers by Joe Rocket.

The day at Rockingham was coordinated by Andy Ibbott's team of expert instructors, and riders were organised into three categories: Novice, Intermediate and Expert.

Former Grand Prix star Steve Parrish was in attendance with his Yamaha R1, helping to test Dunlop's D208 tyres.

Dunlop reports a successful day and plans similar events for 2005.
