SLOW MOTORCYCLE SALES HIT RESIDUAL VALUES
October 13th 2004. Glass's Information Services has suggested that slow sales of new and used machines since August have brought about a fall in residual values.

With showrooms full and demand weak, owners are struggling to obtain acceptable part-exchange values.

Glass's Motorcycle Editor, Randall Thomas said: "The trade anxiously awaits signs that the current slump in used sales will come to an end. However, it could well be next year before the situation improves significantly."
