CLASSIC BIKES FETCH HIGH PRICES AT AUCTION
October 25th 2004.

H&H Classic Auctions in Buxton, Derbyshire, held a sale of classic motorcycles and cars over October 5th and 6th 2004. More than £1.2 million was taken, and the sale included ten bikes from the world-famous National Motor Museum at Beaulieu. Each model sold for well in excess of its estimated value.

The highest price of the day - a massive £18,275 - was paid for a 1908 Rex with wickerwork sidecar.

Simon Hope, H&H Managing Director, said: "We were delighted with this sale, which confirms [that] good machines are always sought after. Yet again, we attracted some 1,500 people to Buxton and yet again we sold 100 per cent of the bikes entered."

The next H&H sale will be held at Buxton over December 7th and 8th. For further information, call 01298 72184, or visit: www.classic-auctions.com
