ROYAL ENFIELD BULLET SIXTY-5 WINS AWARD

The Royal Enfield Bullet Sixty-5 has been awarded 'Future Classic of the Year' at the 11th Carole Nash Classic & Motorcycle Mechanics Show 2004.

Born in 1949, the Royal Enfield Bullet was first constructed in the UK. Nowadays, the machines are made at a plant in Madras, India, which manufactures approximately 24,000 motorcycles.

The new Bullet Sixty-5 was launched in 2003, and features a new five-speed gearbox. This model now accounts for 60 per cent of Royal Enfield sales in the UK. It is available through a network of dealers and retails for £3,348 (OTR).

The Bullet Sixty-5 will be on display at the NEC International Motorcycle and Scooter Show, from November 4th to 14th 2004.
