FAMILY AFFAIR: Imagine the chance of coming to the International Motorcycle & Scooter show and bumping into your brother after 15 years.....well that's exactly what happened to first time exhibitor Francis on the Bagster stand (T27). Francis flew in from Northern France on business and couldn't believe her eyes when her brother, who she lost contact with some years ago, walked right past her in hall 20. Fate or co-incidence, the NEC reunion meant she has since spend the last few days catching up and sharing past memories over several bottles of wine. Looking worse for wear, this is one show Francis will remember for years to come.

SELL OUT: Following the unveiling of their exclusive new 2005 range, Texport have received a fantastic response to their TX1 and Defender Pro Gloves. The product has almost sold out across the show and resulted in the company calling their Italian suppliers for more stock. It's the first time that Texport have had an individual trade stand at the show and the popular glove that features Kangaroo hide are clearly a winner.

HEADS UP: Choosing a helmet from the vast array on offer is proving hard work for some visitors. In order to combat the problem, Shark Helmets (Race Paddock stand P7) have set up a 'Check your Head' promotion offering visitors a measuring service and the chance to walk away with a free helmet. All customers are entered into a daily draw with one lucky winner given a refund on their purchase.

YOUTH DAY: If you happen to spot herds of kids roaming the main concourse tomorrow - don't panic, the shows Youth Day will be entertaining 1000 children from 9.00am

FIGURES - Today the show attracted 13,086 visitors. "It's 11% down on last year but today's figure represents another busy day," said MCIE's managing director Finlay McAllan.
