DEALERS STRUGGLING TO SHIFT USED-BIKE STOCKS
November 17th 2004. Glass's Information Services reports that used-bike stocks are continuing to swell in dealerships across the country.

As winter weather sets in, transaction prices are falling and it is becoming ever-more important for dealers to secure prospective sales.

Glass's states that many dealers have found it necessary to regularly reappraise asking-prices in order to stimulate interest. The company does, however, highlight one significant shortage: "There is evidently a shortage of good-quality mopeds. Leaner 125s are always sought after, even in the winter."
