March 14th 2005.
Neil Hodgson took an impressive second-place in his debut race in the AMA Superbike Championship, in Daytona, wearing Arlen Ness leathers and gloves.
The British rider switched to Arlen Ness clothing for the 2005 season and now wears a titanium/kangaroo suit and kangaroo-hide gloves.
Arlen Ness has pioneered kangaroo-hide suits for road riders, and there is a new suit new for 2005 - manufactured from a mixture of cow and kangaroo hide. This offers wearers some of the weight saving and flexibility of kangaroo hide, at an affordable price.
The Arlen Ness 1794 Cow/Kangaroo suit features Brazilian cowhide from the Company's own tannery, mixed with kangaroo hide and high-tech stretch panels for additional comfort and flexibility.  CE-approved protectors are fitted at the shoulders, elbows, knees and back.
The Arlen Ness 1794 Cow/Kangaroo suit is produced in red/black/white or black/gunmetal, in sizes 38 to 48, and retails for £749.99 (including VAT).
