MAXXIS BRITISH MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP
March 22nd 2005.
The Maxxis British Motocross Championship has become recognised as the premium domestic championship in Europe. Encouraged by this success, Maxxis has signed up for three further years of sponsorship.
Bickers plc, the UK distributor for Maxxis motocross tyres, believes it is important that Maxxis work with the industry to develop this championship to raise the profile of motocross. The company has a full range of tyres available, covering soft-track, intermediate and hard-track options, with a new sand tyre for 2005. The full range of Maxxis tyres can be seen on www.maxxis.com and are available from all off-road dealers.
The first of the eight rounds kicked off at Canada Heights, in Kent, on March 13th, 2005. 10,000 spectators watched as Paul Cooper and Steven Sword stole victory in the MX1 and MX2.
