Infinity Motorcycles branches across London helped Britain's bikers celebrate national Ride to Work day by giving away free Fabulous Bakin' Boys cakes and goody bags. Infinity is Britain's largest retail chain of motorcycle and accessory stores, with branches in Southampton and the South East, London, and as far north as York.
There are six million motorcycle licence-holders in the UK, of whom approximately 25 per cent are defined as 'active' riders. Ride to Work Day promotes motorcycling as an alternative to the car and highlights the benefits associated with motorcycling.
Famous supporters of motorcycling include Charley Boorman, Liberal Democrat MP Lembit Opik, singer Engelbert Humperdinck, former gladiator and journalist Janie Omorogbe, and sportsmen Sir Matthew Pinsent, James Cracknell and Iwan Thomas.
