November 23 2006.
New dates have been confirmed for the 2007 International Motorcycle and Scooter Show at the NEC.  The new dates are 22nd November to 2nd December. The Show was originally due to be held from the 25th October - 4th November 2007, but following the announcement of new dates for the 2007 Milan Motorcycle Show (6th - 11th November), the decision was taken to reschedule the NEC Show to avoid another date clash, that this year restricted the appearance of the Italian manufacturers at the NEC show.
With the new dates, the organisers have also taken the opportunity to give the show a new format and location within the NEC. The 2007 show will move to include the Pavilion and halls 1 through to 4, although the exact size and layout has not yet been determined.
Finlay McAllan, Managing Director of NEC Bike Show organisers, MCI Exhibitions commented: "This is extremely exciting news for us. The new dates and location offer us a blank canvas to work from, and in fact give us a chance to effectively re-launch the show, which should enable us to produce an even more engaging and exhilarating event for visitors than we did in 2006, while at the same time ensuring the quality of exhibitors and features are maintained. We believe it is extremely important that the Milan show and our own show exist side by side, giving consumers in both countries the best opportunity to see all of the latest bikes and equipment."
The 2007 International Motorcycle and Scooter Show will now take place at the Birmingham NEC from 22nd November - 2nd December.
