April 2 2009.

With the introduction of the range-topping RX-7 GP and 103 helmets available, the 2009 Arai motorcycle range is stronger than ever.

From racing in the new RX-7 GP, touring in the Tour X3 and cruising in the open-face Freeway, 35 new colours, designs and replicas have been added to the nine-strong Arai model range, all of which can be seen in the 48-page new catalogue.

The RX-7 GP, developed by MotoGP and Grand Prix riders for a full season before production, is the pinnacle of helmet technology and design. Utilising Arai's strongest ever shell construction, further innovations have been introduced to aid usability; a wider aperture visor increases peripheral vision while a larger opening improves accessibility and an adjustable Air Wing reduces buffeting and turbulence. Striking replica designs include John Hopkins, Dani Pedrosa, Nicky Hayden and Shinya Nakano.

Starting at £309, the popular Chaser series goes from strength to strength with nine new finishes including the Colin Legend and Haga 41 Black, while the Astro Light - aimed at smaller women and children - now receives the striking Diamond Blue finish.

The catalogue also includes a wide selection of rider accessories, including the Arai clothing range, the VentureShield™ helmet paint protection system and the new Fine Vision visor inserts; offering all-year fog-free riding, UV protection and the option of a photochromatic shield that utilises light reactive technology to create a fine tint in sunlight.
