LONDON BIKE FESTIVAL LAUNCHED

The London Bike Festival.  aims to shake up the motorcycle industry by drastically reducing costs for traders and visitors, and bringing together motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the country, to the largest outdoor event of its kind in London.

This is a one-day event to be held on Sunday 19th July 2009. This is the first weekend that most schools break up for the Summer Holidays.

The site is Wanstead Rugby Ground, extending to some 200,000 sq ft of land. The site is located toward the East end of London, only 1 minute drive from the A406, North Circular Road, and is easily accessible from the M11. The nearest Tube station is South Woodford station, which is about 15 minutes walk.

The organisers aim to issue a total of 2000 promotional tickets at £1 per person (plus booking fee of 75 pence when booked online), followed by pre-booked tickets at £4 until 30th May 2009. Gate prices will be £8.

There will also be free parking for visitors.

Pitches will be available for only £50 per 5m x 5m stall.

Corner stalls are at £70 per 5m x 5m pitch.

Charities and Bikes Clubs will be given free pitches, provided they are not involved in trade sales.
