SOMETHING FOR THE WEEKEND
July 24 2009.
A random mix of, confusion, delusion, outing and outright lies to ponder over the weekend. Some people believe some of it. Apparently...

GET ON GETS ON - GRADUALLY

The Get On campaign rolls gently into life with the MCIA and Yamaha following the Motorcycle Trader lead of adding a link from their websites to the Get On website.

What a shame the rest of the 'stakeholders' in the Get On campaign haven't yet bothered to add links from their sites. There will be excuses. None of them valid.

How do those with a vested interest expect Get On to work and for other trade and industry companies to join the effort if they themselves don't get behind it?

If you click on this link to visit www.geton.co.uk you will find a well thought out site that gives plenty of information and contacts. It needs a few tweaks here and there, but no doubt it will develop over time.

Every trade and industry company with a website needs to link to it now. If you need the Get On logo then drop us an email at news@motorcycletrader.net and we will send it to you.

YAMAHA - CAN YOU SEE A PATTERN?
So - Yamaha was the only manufacturer that did anything about the largely ignored and forgotten Motorcycle Week and Ride to Work Day and to date is the only company to link to the Get On website.

Yamaha is also the reigning champ of the sales chart. Maybe trying has something to do with it?

OXFORD BIGHEADS
Pick of the new products this week must be the new XXXL size HJC helmet from Oxford Products, which the Oxford press release described as "Generously Sized".

Nice one Henry...
