EXPO SOLD OUT!
So there you have it. All the excitement and rumour squashed. Expo stays at the NEC. And according to the new website it is already sold out, with an impressive list of exhibitors and not a single red 'vacant' stand on the show plan. Remarkable. Unbelievable in fact....

Fowlers spat the dummy after Motorcycle Trader dared to publish the news that Gerald Davison had jumped ship.
As Gerald had presented his exit release at his final Fowlers board meeting you have to wonder what Fowlers expected him to do with it. And if there was an issue, why on earth the company didn't either discuss it with Gerald there and then, or issue its own release.
So now, instead of us all just discounting the split as a simple difference of opinion and amicable parting of the ways, the Fowlers over-reaction clearly indicates there are bigger issues that need investigating.
Chinese whispers perhaps...
Honda and the Barrus brands join Yamaha in placing links to the Get On website from their sites, but a poor no-show from the rest of the 'interested' parties.
Get On? Shhhhhhh.... Nobody cares.... Let it die in peace....
YAMAHA TO TOYOTA?
In the week when Yamaha slipped majestically into the red, another story from out East tells of 230 Yamaha engineers being loaned to a Toyota-Panasonic joint venture which supplies batteries for the growing hybrid-power vehicle market. Could this be the start of a bigger plan perhaps?
According to the Nikkei newspaper in Japan, "Yamaha Motor has 1,700 idle employees worldwide". It didn't specify how many of those are based in the UK...
