CAROLE NASH AGAIN VOTED FAVOURITE BIKING BROKER
October 8 2009.

Carole Nash has again been voted by UK bikers as the nation's favourite motorcycle insurance broker. It is the seventh time in eight years that the company has topped the riders' poll in bikers' bible, RiDE.

Each year the magazine's RiDER Power report surveys thousands of bikers to discover their loves and hates. This year 4,024 riders were polled and named Carole Nash as their Most Used Insurer, reaffirming the company's market-leading status. The company has now taken the title in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Rebecca Donohue, Carole Nash's head of marketing, said the latest poll victory demonstrated how it's "added value" formula and specialist expertise was proving vital in an increasingly competitive marketplace. "We're seeing determined yet failed efforts by other firms to steal our crown. The bottom line is that bikers always have appreciated the way we do business. They understand that we provide policies with a range of inclusive benefits which they'd pay extra for elsewhere and that we back them up with informed service which only a true specialist can deliver."

Her comments were backed up by new research conducted by the leading independent comparative analysis specialist, Consumer Intelligence, which specialises in benchmarking financial services firms. In its Service Watch Motorbike Insurance report it found that Carole Nash offered the overall best service among the motorcycle insurance brokers, scoring the highest ratings of the 11 insurance providers surveyed for customer rapport and sales technique. It was also found to devote the greatest time to calls reflecting a desire to satisfy the specialist needs of the market. Consumer Intelligence's managing director Ian Hughes said the company's performance was exceptional. "We monitor not just the performance of the motorcycle insurance brokers but firms right across the financial services spectrum. In our experience it's unusual for a company to score highly across all the performance indicators."

Mrs. Donohue added: "This independent research shows that we have some of the highest standards in the market and that we are committed not to simply securing the highest turnover of calls but in ensuring we gather every relevant detail to make certain we offer the most appropriate cover and premium."
