Kymco UK will be racing ahead with Team Aztec GP in the 2010 British 125cc Roadracing championship as part of a new marketing partnership that will see Kymco's branding on the team's GP 125cc machine.

For 2010, the two partners are also working on plans to showcase Kymco's range of scooters and motorcycles at each of the BSB race events in a new specially designed hospitality area. Kymco UK will also continue its current arrangement of supplying the team with a paddock scooter.

Kevin Molloy, Media and Partner Director for Team Aztec GP said: "As an ambitious, independent 125cc race team which is focused on engineering and design excellence, our aim from day one has been to forge a relationship with a like-minded manufacturer that did not have its own race programme. Kymco is that ideal partner. It is a massive scooter and motorcycle brand worldwide and has a solid reputation for producing quality 125 machines. Importantly we are both committed to this partnership, and share the belief that we can mutually benefit from this co-branding opportunity."

Ian Kidson, Managing Director of Masco Limited, the sole concessionaire for Kymco in the UK added: "We are always looking for innovative ways to promote Kymco, as well as opportunities to interact with customers and dealers, especially around the British race circuit. There is a really good synergy and brand-fit, between Kymco and Aztec, and I firmly believe that we can benefit from each other's successes on the track and road."
