One of Britain's most prominent cancer charities has gained a new corporate partner in the shape of AGV Sport.
AGV Sport offers a wide range of motorcycling apparel including leather race suits, textile jackets, boots, gloves and back packs and part of the 2007 collection was launched at the NEC International Motorcycle and Scooter Show in October this year. Co Director of AGV Sport Group (UK) Limited Lisa Bloxsome explains how they will be supporting the charity;-
" Our family has been affected by breast cancer and we wanted to join forces with Breakthrough in the fight against this most prevalent form of cancer. One of our most popular leather jackets is the Lady Jane, a stylish and striking jacket in pink, black and silver and we are donating £15.00 to Breakthrough Breast Cancer for every one distributed to our retail outlets. Our aim is to sell at least 1500 Lady Jane's in 2007 and this money will help the 1 in 9 women in the UK who develop breast cancer every year ".
The Lady Jane is made from 1.4mm premium cowhide and features double or triple stitching throughout, removable, moulded dual density armour in shoulders and elbows, as well as a removable, washable liner. The jacket offers a stylish cut to suit a ladies figure and also features full and short waist zips, a neoprene soft neck collar and hi-vis reflective AGV Sport badges. The specification makes this a serious biking jacket with safety in mind, but the styling is sassy and gorgeous. The jacket is very well priced at £149.99 RRP and is available from more than fifty motorcycle dealerships and retail outlets nation-wide.
The current pink campaign for Breakthrough Breast Cancer "show your breasts some TLC" is equally striking and urges women to touch - look - check regularly. And it is hoped that with the support of corporate partners such as AGV Sport more research, campaigning and education will help to tackle breast cancer from all angles and ensure a future free from the fear of breast cancer.
