The 2007 Dirt Bike Show at Stoneleigh Park will move from its traditional mid-November slot to 6- 9 December, in order to avoid a date clash with NEC Motorcycle Show.
David Watson of Promoto, who have organised the past seven shows, sees the move as positive.
"After the NEC Show moved onto our dates we took an all-round sounding from the trade and from our regular exhibitors and everyone we spoke to was very positive about moving to a December date."
He continues.  "It obviously suits the exhibitors who will also be attending the NEC show, but even the hard-core off-roaders who won't be trading at the NEC thought that a move nearer to Christmas would prove beneficial, so we have done the deal."
The Dirt Bike Show has attracted over 100,000 visitors since it first ran at Stoneleigh Park near Coventry in 2000 and they have been treated to all of the latest motorcycles and kit from the off road world to feast their eyes on.  According to the annual Show survey, the majority of show-goers are repeat customers and it is clear that, alongside the bikes and gear, the Live Action Arena and retail zone are significant attractions too.
The continued support of all the major off road bike and quad manufacturers has been central to the Show's enduring success and last year they were joined by Arctic Cat and BMW, both of whom had a major presence for their first time.
The 2007 Dirt Bike Show will run at Stoneleigh Park next from Thursday 6th - Sunday 9th December.
