Three Cross Motorcycles, the UK distributor of MV Agusta, will be throwing its weight behind Q Motorsport to develop the 1000cc MV F4  for British Superbike racing. Three Cross has  represented the Italian factory in the UK for over 20 years and has now persuaded it to supply the exclusive F4 1000 SBK model for racing in the British championships.
These exotic machines will be ridden by Glen Richards, who finished 10th in the 2006 BSB Championship, supported by the up-and-coming Joey Redding in the Superstock class.
"With Glen's experience and knowledge of the British circuits we intend to be highly competitive," says Mark Quelch of Team Q Motorsport, who has been involved in motorcycle racing for 25 years and has a wealth of experience behind him.
Richard Davies, Sales Director at Three Cross, shares his excitement.  "MV achieved 3rd and 4th places in the 2006 Superstock 1000 FIM Cup Championship, which is astounding as it was their first season in this highly competitive class.  During its heyday in the 1950's and '60's MV AGUSTA won 75 World Brand and Rider championships and 207 Grand Prix and we're confident that race fans will be focused on the MV's during the coming season to see how they perform."
Three Cross Motorcycles can supply a road-going version of the SBK, the F4 1000R, which is priced from £14,250 on the road.
