The new Moto Morini Corsaro is now in production and the first machinrs have arrived in the UK. The Veloce is the sport evolution of the 140bhp Corsaro 1200 and its name, Veloce, Italian for high-speed, reveals its intrinsic personality.
Like the Corsaro, the Veloce has the 1187cc 140 Hp Bialbero CorsaCorta 87°, V-twin engine at its heart, delivering a maximum torque of 91 lb ft at 6,500 rpm.  However, Morini has packed the Veloce with top quality performance parts for a modest price difference compared to the standard Corsaro.
Up front are the impressive Marzocchi Magnum forks with 50 mm diameter legs and the option for precise setting of compression and rebound to suit the rider's requirements. At the rear is an asymmetrical swing arm that conceals a Sachs fully adjustable single shock absorber, with its strut diameter increased by 16 mm, adjustable spring rebound and an internal counter-spring for an improved riding response.
Twin Gold Series Brembo 320mm discs with 4-piston callipers give powerful and progressive braking. The high quality ergal solid block alloy foot rests are slightly rear set and have a shortened gearshift action for a sportier feel.
The exhaust system has two slender and lightweight Termignoni stainless steel silencers in a pure racing style that produce a powerful hum while complying with stringent Euro 3 emission standards.   For owners seeking track day fun, the Veloce is supplied with a second control unit with racing mapping, which promises a definite upgrade in performance.
The Moto Morini Corsaro Veloce is available at £9,899 OTR.
