Skidmarx has produced top quality racing screens for Rizla Suzuki for many years and the new double bubble screen for the road going GSX-R1000K7 has been developed using experience gained on the track.
Like all Skidmarx double bubble screens, the GSX-R version is manufactured in the UK from 3mm acrylic, which is 1mm thicker than full race screens, as this makes them stiffer, more robust and better suited to everyday road use.  They are designed to directly replace the original item and can be fitted using the original mounting points and fasteners.  Fitting a Skidmarx double bubble not only gives the bike an authentic racing appearance (thanks to its authentic racing pedigree), it also provides the rider with an air pocket that many find makes riding at speed and over distance more comfortable.
Owners can choose from clear, light or dark tints at the suggested selling price of £49.95 inc. VAT.  Skidmarx also offer a wide choice of colours, including bright blue red, amber, violet, fluorescent green and yellow for a £6.00 surcharge.  A standard replacement screen is also available in the same range of clear, tinted or coloured options with prices starting at £39.95 and versions for the 2007 model Yamaha R1 and Honda CBR-600RR will follow soon.
Skidmarx also produce matching headlight covers, formed to follow the complex shapes of modern light units.  These are held securely in place with Scotch Lock fixing pads and offer protection to valuable headlight units from stone chips and other road debris.  Prices start at £19.50.
