BUSINESS AS USUALL AT ROB WILLSHER MOTORCYCLES
March 30 2007.

Crescent Motorcycle Co Ltd may be a new partner of Rob Willsher Motorcycles in Southampton, but it is business as usual according to the popular Suzuki dealership.

Tom Guilmant, the long-time boss of the business - since 1974 - is sticking with the dealership and vowing it will keep true to its family values.

"It really is business as usual at Rob Willsher Motorcycles," explained Tom. "All seven of the staff that the customers know are staying and joining Crescent - including all the old hats such as myself, Stewart Lock the Sales Manager, and Sean Wield the Service Manager. We have also just started Tony Cox as the new Parts and Clothing Manager - so a big welcome aboard to him.

"Our core values of excellent service, back-up and family friendliness will be mixed with the benefits of new investment and the many opportunities that being part of the Crescent family brings."

Tom believes the merger makes Willsher ripe for moving up a gear and is delighted to be part of the Crescent family of dealerships.

"It is time for Rob Willsher Motorcycles to expand and the merger with Crescent was the correct way forward to form a larger group," said Tom. "Like Willsher's, Crescent is family run, based on high-service values and has been a Suzuki solus dealership for decades - there are plenty of synergies between the two businesses.

"I am remaining as Dealer Principal and I'm really excited about the future prospects for the business. We have a fantastic and loyal customer base and I know many of them personally as friends; I want them to be as excited about this new chapter in the dealership's history as I am - and to help me write it!"

Tom's first big challenge is to move the dealership to a new state-of-the-art premises and workshop as the existing lease on the current property is due to expire. He said: "I want it to be a seamless transition from our old premises to new. Once we have more information we will be advising customers. With Crescent's Rizla Suzuki MotoGP and BSB teams, when we do open our new shop it's going to be a spectacular biker party, that's for sure."
