Arpil 22 2010.

Zero Motorcycles will be demonstrating its  2010 range of high performance electric motorcycles at the MCIA Media Day on Tuesday 27 April 2010. Of particular interest will be the Zero DS, a fully electric dual sport motorcycle that can be ridden anywhere from the city street to a gravel road.

The MCIA has invited press from across the country and from a diversity of publications and makes an ideal venue to present Zero Motorcycles' latest range which includes both performance and aesthetic changes. The 2010 range includes the revolutionary Z-Force Air Induction System on the Zero S and Zero DS models, enabling Zero Motorcycles to produce more horsepower from lighter and more compact motors by increasing the airflow through the heart of the motor. Zero Motorcycles is also introducing a new throttle technology that modulates the increased power to provide riders with exacting control over the acceleration.

All 2010 motorcycles are powered using Z-ForceT power pack technology with new and more precise cell monitoring. The cumulative result of all this technology is a longer power pack life, more power, greater acceleration off the line and superior handling.

Edwin Belonje, Zero Motorcycles Director of Sales & Marketing in Europe, said. "We are very excited to be bringing our entire range of 2010 Zero Motorcycles to the MCIA Media Day; the diversity of press attending the event ideally suits the diversity of the range of bikes available from Zero Motorcycles. We have a motorcycle to suit all two-wheel enthusiasts, from extreme sports such as motocross and cross country riding, to road riders and city commuting."
