MCIA ANNOUNCES CENTENARY CHARITY GOLF DAY
May 11 2010.

The Motor Cycle Industry Association is holding a special centenary golf day on 29th July.

The event is to celebrate 100 years of serving the industry and the day will also raise money for the remarkable work of BEN, the charity that provides quality care and support for industry employees and their dependents.

The charity golf day will take place at the prestigious Belfry, which is the UK headquarters of the PGA and spiritual home of the Ryder Cup. The two courses are a golf mecca for professionals and amateurs offering 550 acres of beautiful North Warwickshire countryside.

Included in the ticket price are 18 holes of golf on the PGA course followed by a three-course meal and awards ceremony.

The format of place will be Stableford Four Ball Better Ball. Players will receive their full handicap allowance and the best two scores on the day will count.

Steve Kenward, the MCIA CEO said, "This charity event is a must for all golfers. It is the perfect opportunity to enjoy playing at this prestigious venue as well as contributing financially to the invaluable work of BEN.

"Celebrating 100 years of active work for the industry is an important milestone for the MCIA and we are looking forward to raising funds whilst enjoying a fabulous event."
