Spada, the British Designed motorcycle apparel brand, has released two new leather jackets - Classic and Zero.

Available in ladies and men's sizes, both jackets combine modern advances in construction, protection and materials but with a look and price of yesteryear.

The understated design and soft leather of the Classic will make it popular with riders on and off the bike.

The £195 jacket boasts CE-rated armour in the elbows and shoulders with the 1.2-1.4mm cowhide construction triple stitched in critical areas and an adjustable waist to tailor the fit.

For those hotter days in the saddle, the thermal fleece lining can be quickly removed and pockets on the front and rear of the jacket double as intake and exhaust vents.

The Zero, with its Retro striped design on the arms, looks equally suited in the pub or on a long, sunny Sunday blast.

Priced at £139.99, the fantastic value jacket boasts a 100% cowhide construction to its milled grain texture exterior and is triple-stitched at critical seems with CE armour at the shoulders and elbows.

Rider comfort comes courtesy of a soft inner lining, adjustable waist band and discreet zipped vents at the shoulder to allow cool air to flow in.

Both jackets feature three-quarter zips at the bottom enabling them to attach to any zipped Spada leather or textile trouser, such as the Magma.

Spada has a brand new website for 2010 - - where riders and dealers can view the entire collection to the point of zooming right in on the stitching. The 'click & pick' function also allows consumers to add items to a basket and then choose a nearest dealer to send the order to in order to try before they buy.
