Malcolm Rathmell Sport has become the sole UK Distributor for the new Gibson Tyre Technology brand.

The Gibson brand secured three British Championships in 2015 with Adam Harris winning the AMCA British 2-Stroke, Jamie Skuse winning the British Evo Championship, Vintage Bonanza Championship and runner-up in the Premier MX Pro Expert Class and Tim Truman in the Bridgestone Cup in the Open Class.

Gibson owner Josh Plews and his business partner have dedicated many hours of time and effort into developing the brand over the last few years and they now feel it is the right time to launch the product. MRS will be sole distributor of the new Motocross and Enduro tyres and is looking for new dealers to add to its already well-established network.

MRS is the UK Importer of some of the top brands in the UK, with Sherco, Airoh, Gaerne, FIST, Galfer, Domino, Nau, Clice, Braktec, and is also the sole off-road distributor for Forcefield.

Announcing the new deal, Carly Rathmell said:  "We have been speaking with Josh for most of this year and we are very excited about bringing this new product into the UK. We have a good working relationship with all our dealers and hope to be the place where they can look on as a one-stop shop for all the products. We have a growing range of top products and we think this will fit in nicely. Gibson has been working very hard to establish the brand and has a very professional outlook on its business and we believe this will fit in very well with how we work at MRS."

Josh Plews added: "Myself and the whole team at Gibson Tyre Technology are incredibly excited to be collaborating with Malcolm Rathmell Sport. The company is one of the longest standing distributors in the UK who work with some of the biggest brands in the off road world. We are very proud to be in close partnership for tyre distribution with one of the most well respected distributors/importers in the industry, providing a total commitment to first class service."
