The 2007 motorcycle race season is already well underway, and the new Team Black Horse is taking every opportunity to stand out at all the major International Road Race Events in 2007.

Earlier this year, Welshman, Ian Lougher, who continues as Team Black Horse manager and race partner for the 5th year, teamed up with Jimmy Moore, a twice American AMA Superstock Champion, for the 2007 race season.

Black Horse Motorcycle Finance has been the title sponsor for Team Black Horse since 2002. Finance Director John Anderson is impressed with their teamwork so far, "The North West 200 was not only Jimmy's debut on UK soil, but his first attempt at "pure" road racing. Ian has a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge of all the road race circuits, so his help and guidance at the NW200 and the IOM TT has been invaluable to Jimmy. They put a great deal of preparation into each race, and have an extremely professional approach to every event.

"Ian and Jimmy have continued to ride the familiar Black Horse branded Honda Fireblades during the NW200 and IOM TT events this year, and seem to be satisfied with the bikes' performance, although Ian was clearly disappointed that he didn't finish in the top three in any of the races, especially with it being the centenary year.

Ian Lougher, "It's great to have someone of Jimmy's calibre on board for the 2007 season. His performance at the TT Centenary event was remarkable, given that he was new to the circuit and to the bike [he's been a Suzuki rider for the majority of his biking career].

Audiences can also expect to see Team Black Horse appearing at the Ulster Grand Prix, the Southern 100 meeting and Scarborough's Oliver's Mount Circuit later in the year.
