Skidmarx has responded to increased interest in the resurgent range of Moto Guzzis with stylish huggers in GRP and carbon fibre, designed for the Breva V1100, Griso 1100, Norge 1200T and V1200 Sport models. Although Skidmarx produce huggers to fit most popular models of European and Japanese motorcycles, these are their first for this historic Italian company's bikes.

Skidmarx manufacture their huggers in the UK and design them to offer shock and linkage protection by preventing road grime from splashing into the exposed area above the chunky rear tyre. All Skidmarx huggers are hand laid in the UK from GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic = 'fibreglass'), or carbon fibre, both of which can be manufactured in many complex shapes to follow the lines of the bike itself. The Guzzi huggers are designed to be mounted from the strut above the shaft drive for a straightforward and tidy fit without the need for any modification.

Both versions of the hugger are extremely light - the GRP version tips the scales at just 500g and the carbon version is 40% lighter at approximately 300g.

These distinctive looking huggers are supplied with all necessary fittings and simple to follow instructions. Skidmarx produce their GRP huggers in black as standard, although other colour options are available on request. The Moto Guzzi huggers retail for £79.95 inc. VAT in black GRP, with the carbon fibre versions at £129.95.

Most other popular motorcycles are covered - full details are available on the web site or in the free colour catalogue.
